Basketball Player, Richard Jefferson Calls off Wedding at Last Moment
UPDATE! Don’t feel bad for the bride. She has received a six figure payoff for her trouble! GO HERE
—————————————————-Years ago I remember reading in People Magazine about a woman who was dumped by her fiancee just a day or two before the wedding. He had met a woman [a stripper] at his bachelor party and fell in love with the stripper (later married the stripper).
I recall how bad I felt for the dumped woman and wondered if she would ever emotionally heal from such a horrible humiliation and shock to her system. After all, over a hundred people were invited to their wedding and she and her mother had to call them all to inform them it was canceled.
This morning I heard on the radio about basketball player, Richard Jefferson dumping his would-be wife, Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols. And then I received a tip from Evangelist ET about the story.
On one hand, my heart goes out to Kesha. On the other hand, had they married, I’m sure it would have ended in divorce. Richard Jefferson obviously was not yet ready and when I look at her pictures, I cannot blame him. Her mind is on the wrong stuff. Simple as that:
It was supposed to be the best day of their lives.
Former New Jersey Nets star Richard Jefferson and onetime Nets dancer Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols were set to tie the knot at the Mandarin Oriental last Saturday, NYPost.com reports. But in an unexpected turn of events, Jefferson bailed the night before their wedding.
The cold-footed fiancé ditched his stunning bride-to-be at such late notice that some guests had already shown up to the extravagant $2 million event that never took place.

I don’t see anyone, especially in this economy, planning a $2 million wedding only to walk out at the last minute. Something serious had to have come to light before hand. The fact that the source article even says that the bride was:
indicates to me that she somehow compromised their relationship and caused him to feel betrayed. I don’t know any bride who could experience the embarassment and humiliation of being stood up at a $200 wedding, let alone a $2 MILLION dollar wedding and then behave as though she expected it to happen. Something in the milk ain’t clean and I’m sure it will come to light after a while.
We may not ever know all of what went down but brother man obviously meant business.
