Attention bloggers,

As a blogger, I’m always honored when I see something I’ve written on another blogger’s blog. Thus far, there have been no problems because the bloggers who reprint my articles always supply a link so that the readers will be able to link back to this blog and know for certain that I am the source of the article.

However, just to be safe, I’ll list my requests:

a. You do not have to ask my permission to post my articles to your blogs. BUT, you must always include a link back to this blog and I request you add my name (Lynn Green).

b. Either my blog or my site meter always alerts me when someone links to me, so if you print one of my articles, I will eventually see it. If you think about it, though, shoot me an email telling me you posted one (or more) of my articles. Hicktownpress (at) gmail.com

REGARDING MAGAZINES AND BOOKS

The rules are totally different. Very few blogs ever turn a profit and as a courtesy, blogs have my permission to print my work for free as long as they link back to me and acknowledge me as the author.

Magazines and books are “for profit” entities.

If you ever want to post any article that I write, start by sending me an email to gain my permission. And from there we will discuss compensation. Thanks!
