Forgive me for taking so long to get the update to you regarding Nailah Franklin.
Police have arrested an acqaintance of a woman whose body was found week after going missing for nine days, but the ex-boyfriend’s charges are not related to the case.
Reginald Potts, 30, has been charged with misdemeanor battery. He was arrested on Friday in the 800 block of South Wabash Avenue, police News Affairs officers told CBS 2.
Potts is an acquaintance of Nailah Franklin, 28, whose body was found a week ago Thursday after a frantic nine-day search. Franklin was reported missing on Sept. 19 after failing to show up for an important work meeting. She worked as a pharmaceutical representative for Eli Lilly & Co.
This creep seems to have a history of threatening people:
A former boyfriend, Reginald Potts, 30, was charged Friday with misdemeanor battery for allegedly threatening a gas station attendant in Chicago’s South Loop, police said.

I’m glad he was caught and hopefully justice will be served.
Of course there is the chance that he is not the one who killed her. But judging from some of what I read about him, he appears to be a real jerk and mean individual.
