“Archbishop” Earl Paulk has passed away

HicktownPress would like to send out words of comfort to the family of “Archbishop” Earl Paulk who died of cancer. If you do a search of his name on this blog, you will see that we could never find anything positive to say about him; however, in his death, what is done is done and God is left to judge. So we here will only say…peace unto his loved ones.

What a sad day indeed when you cannot find a positive word to say about a preacher who was in the ministry for over 60 years!

At this point, all we can do is pray for his loved ones and the many believers who were directly or indirectly wounded by his ungodly behavior.

I can recall years ago when my former pastor celebrated this man like he was a god. I was never comfortable with Earl Paulk or his theology that mandated that people had to totally submit to their pastor in order for God to bless them.

While Earl Paulk’s death does not bury the pain he caused, I pray that the people he wounded and NEVER made it right with are able to release him to God and go on with their lives. For his sake, since I know that God’s Grace is amazing, I pray that he truly repented for his sins; if so Earl Paulk is in heaven at this very moment!

To those who may think that Earl Paulk got away with his sins against women and the Body of Christ, please know that …each of us will give an account of himself to God (Romans 14:12).

NOTE OF WARNING TO ALL FALSE SHEPHERDS: After years of adultery, sexual abuse and debauchery; God’s judgment upon Earl Paulk was swift and severe. Earl Paulk suffered in horrific pain from cancer; he was banished from every religious circle in which he once enjoyed preeminence; his name was shamed before the world and his ministry was destroyed before his very eyes PRIOR to his death. Let this be a lesson to you: GOD AIN’T PLAYING AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!!

To those who still need healing from Earl Paulk’s deeds, God has promised to heal you!! But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, ‘declares the LORD…’ (Jeremiah 30:17).
