Amy Winehouse in rehab…yes, yes, yes

Echoing the sentiments of her 2006 single, Amy Winehouse has declared her intention not to go into rehab after a drug overdose landed her in the hospital last week (August 7). As previously reported the star had to be be given an adrenaline injection and have her stomach pumped in a London hospital. Source

After watching her father and her husband’s father practically break out into a fistfight over she and her husband’s drug addictions, they both entered rehab together:

Amy Winehouse and husband, Blake Fielder-Civil agreed to go into drugs rehab after seeing their dads nearly come to blows, friends said last night.

Amy was in tears after the row during a showdown with their families over their heroin and cocaine addiction.

A source close to the family told the Mirror: “It broke Amy’s heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting.

“That was the point when she realised all the drink and drugs were causing huge problems for everybody.”

The party-loving couple flew to the US for intensive counselling and detox treatment after also seeing a leading Harley Street doctor recommended by former wild child Kelly Osbourne. Source and Source

Wow. Sad to see entertainers sink into such depths of dispair. That’s what happens when folks leave God totally out of the picture. Humanism = debauchery.
