About Diane Fedele and The RACIST “Obama Bucks” Picture
By: Lynn Green
The racists are truly falling out of their Klan gowns with a quickness! The picture below was posted to a Rebublican woman’s newsletter by Diane Fedele, who is playing dumb and claiming she meant no harm and doesn’t see what the problem was. LOL! Whew!

The group’s president, Diane Fedele, said she plans to send an apology letter to her members and to apologize at the club’s meeting next week. She said she simply wanted to deride a comment Obama made over the summer about how as an African-American he “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”
“It was strictly an attempt to point out the outrageousness of his statement. I really don’t want to go into it any further,” Fedele said in a telephone interview Tuesday. “I absolutely apologize to anyone who was offended. That clearly wasn’t my attempt.”
Fedele said she got the illustration in a number of chain e-mails and decided to reprint it for her members in the Trumpeter newsletter because she was offended that Obama would draw attention to his own race. She declined to say who sent her the e-mails with the illustration.
She said she doesn’t think in racist terms, pointing out she once supported Republican Alan Keyes, an African-American who previously ran for president.
“I didn’t see it the way that it’s being taken. I never connected,” she said. “It was just food to me. It didn’t mean anything else.”
She said she also wasn’t trying to make a statement linking Obama and food stamps, although her introductory text to the illustration connects the two: “Obama talks about all those presidents that got their names on bills. If elected, what bill would he be on????? Food Stamps, what else!”
Club Member CriesSheila Raines, an African-American member of the club, was the first person to complain to Fedele about the newsletter. Raines, of San Bernardino, said she has worked hard to try to convince other minorities to join the Republican Party and now she feels betrayed.”This is what keeps African-Americans from joining the Republican Party,” she said. “I’m really hurt. I cried for 45 minutes.”
I have news for Ms. Fedele and her Chaffey Community Republican Women, Federated . Girl, you need to stop making those lying remarks and just admit to what you did! Either you are mentally retarded or you KNEW the implications of that racist garbage that you mailed out. Who do you think you are playing games with?

black manObama in a donkey costume, Kool-Aid, Fried Chicken (I can’t make out what that is next to the fried chicken) and watermelon, but she is not a racist and meant NO HARM!….. Yeah, and if you believe that bold-faced lie, the ‘Maverick’ is going to personally come to your home to pay your credit card bills and get you out of debt.Diane, Diane Diane, where did your brain go?
Did it hurt when it left you all alone without the capacity to THINK!!??? If you really believe this wasn’t racist, maybe we should put out an Amber alert for your brain, “last seen in a red ford pickup , license plates KKK4EVR”
LOL
I am still trying to figure out how this woman thought this could possibly go unnoticed. There are factions in the Republican party, including John McCain and his sidekick tag team Sarah and Todd Palin, who would have us believe that they are not inciting an atmosphere of racial tension. John Lewis was absolutely right when he talked about George Wallace. I am starting to wonder in we are back in the 1900s when racism was prevalent.
Well I don’t know what to say but just look at the picture. She has to be the dumbest woman alive if she didn’t think that would cause a lot of anger.
A donkey=middle eastern
chicken, ribs, and kool-aid=was a stereo type white people used when discribing what black people love to eat.
watermelon=well i dont know where they came up with this one, because from where im from we got the black people beat. we eat watermellon like its the last thing on earth. especially being from a place where there is only one season and thats summer.
I think that the gesture was Racist as hell. She needs to take responsibility for her actions. Hell she just gave the KKK another reason to change there slogan..haha.
And when they interviewed her daughter i couldn’t help but to laugh, because when asked if she thought it was Racist..She couldn’t even answer with a straight face. she said NOT REALLY….a NO would have been convincing.
And her dad was MEXICAN? ok so let me guess she is half mexican.
so if i was to make a buck but put it on a VISA with beans, rice, and a carona, maybe throw in some oranges. would that have been a stereotype or maybe even a racist gesture? hmm.
Welcome to Hicktown, NeniGurl. Terrific first post!
Just because her dad is Mexican does not mean she does not exclude the possibility of her mother disliking black people. I know plenty of white people who are ok with mexicans but hate black people.
