911 Operator Fired for Cursing at the End of Call
May 15, 2008by Deputy Diva
This story reminds me of a popular Public Enemy song from back in the day called “911 is a joke.” VIDEO
In this case, however, it sadly was. This poor woman Sheila Jones, called 911 more than once in a THREE HOUR period after her ex-boyfriend held her at knife-point. The report I heard yesterday morning on WBLS-NY radio, stated that “police only arrived, after Jones called the Mayor’s office and begged them to dispatch help.”
One of the reasons why Jones did not receive immediate help was due in part to an operator, Frank Roth, who blatantly said at the end of the call, “I really just don’t give a s— what happens to you.” CLICK HERE
Thankfully Jones lived to tell the story and no harm was done to her. I can’t even imagine having to call 911 more than once and it taking 3 hours for someone to respond. The people of Nashville, TN should be outraged and the City should be highly embarrassed by this.

Wonder why it took a full month to fire this creep?

I sure would like to know. He should have been fired immediately. Can you imagine the lawsuit the City would have against them if anything had happened to this woman? She should still explore suing beind this. They compromised her safety and placed her life in jeopardy.
