You know it’s really sad that some black folk have yet to get the memo that we have a new President in office and that CHANGE is the order of the day. 

Lynn previously blogged about Rick Ross the former corrections officer turned pretend gangsta rapper HERE. 

Well, apparently he and 50 Cent have some sort of ‘beef’ going on.  I’m not fans of either individual and honestly hadn’t been paying this foolishness any mind until I came across a video earlier this evening in which 50 Cent interviews one of Rick Ross’ baby mama’s and takes her on a shopping spree, which is also captured on the video.

I really had to scratch my head for a minute and wonder WHY?  Is this staged?  Because neither of these men seem relevant right about now? 

50’s last album didn’t sell as well as he had hoped.  He has been in the news for the past year regarding his ongoing feud and never-ending lawsuits with his own baby mama, Shaniqua Tomkins.  SOURCE

50 has also been in the news trying to sell that ‘gi-normous’ house of his in Farmington, CT.  So much so, that he has lowered the price more than once in an attempt to sell it quickly.   SOURCE

One would think with all that has been going on in 50’s life and especially considering how he lost one of his homes last year in a suspicious arson fire; is trying to quickly sell another; and has reportedly increased child support payments to his baby mama, that he would have way too much on his plate to be worried about some corrections officer turned fake rapper; but, I guess not.

50 Cent felt the need to not only locate Tia Kemp, the mother of Rick Ross’ son, but to film an 8 minute video with her.  Kemp is too eager to be in the video and is grinning her teeth like I’m sure she’s never grinned them before; especially, when 50 takes her to Flemington Furs and Gucci. 

He also mentions in the video that Kemp will be writing a ‘tell-all book’ about Rick Ross soon.

Please, who cares?  She obviously doesn’t remember when 50 Cent encouraged rapper Nas’ baby mama, Carmen Bryan to write a tell-all book about her relationship with Nas along with her dalliances with Jay-Z, Allen Iverson and a host of other famous and not so famous men.  SOURCE  

Carmen’s book flopped and she became upset whenever people told her point blank that all she did was certify in writing how much she had in fact slept around.   Wendy Williams in fact sprayed her down with Lysol on her television show that aired on VH1 and told her to get an AIDS test.

When will these women also get the memo that it’s not cute to run around breeding for these celebrities and then exploit themselves and their children for material goods like fur coats, pocketbooks and expensive shoes?  Whatever happened to self pride and respect?

These men rap about how women are nothing more than bitches and hos and then we have members of the Jiggaboo crew come along and prove them right by making babies with them and then inserting themselves in these rap beefs to get another rapper to buy them material goods.  All the rapper is doing is publicly pimping them and justifying his right to call them and all black women out their names.  When will the madness end?
