You all remember Joe Horn. He is the Texan who had peaked out his window and saw two criminals robbing his neighbors’ home. He was cleared, as a grand jury decided not to persue this case.

A grand jury here today cleared a Pasadena, Texas, man in the shooting deaths of two suspected burglars as they left his neighbor’s house — a case that stirred a national debate over whether the man was a vigilante or a hero.

Joe Horn, 62, shot the men on Nov. 14 after calling authorities and declaring his intention to kill them with his 12-gauge shotgun.

The 911 audiotape captured multiple warnings by the dispatcher, asking Horn to stay inside and telling him that “property’s not worth killing someone over.” However, Horn grew agitated because the men looked like they were going to get away before police arrived. As the tape rolled, Horn went outside, shouted “Move, you’re dead!” and fired his weapon.

Sorry, but I honestly cannot blame the grand jury. I have a difficult time having sympathy for criminals. Want to live? Then go find a job and don’t break into anyone’s home.

  It appears that the polygamous cult that was in the news recently has found another way to get money. And it’s odd that the men hide like cowards as the women go out and earn the money. The women are the ones cheating the government by collecting public assistance. The women are the ones selling these prairie dresses. Check this out:

The enterprise was initially started to provide Texas Child Protective Services with clothes for the 440 children seized in an April raid on the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ ranch at Eldorado, Texas.

Now, the polygamous sect’s women hope to earn a living from the site.

A friend just shared this powerful story to me about 92 year-old, Pauline Jacoby of Dyersburg, Tennessee.  She thwarted a robbery at a local Wal-Mart by ministering to a man who jumped in her car, demanding money, while telling her that he had a gun. Check out this awesome VIDEO.

T.D. Jakes is too old to be “cool”.  I was over at IC blog and saw that Jakes is supposedly wearing an earring now.

You would think that a man who has produced a son who talks like a woman would be doing everything in his power to go in the opposite direction of earrings. Both of his older sons have an effeminate way of talking but one of them is flaming. And the young man wears earrings in BOTH ears.

If I were Jakes, having produced something like that for a child—and the guy is basically a bum who bragged on TBN that he “listens to music all day” in his father’s music studio—I’d be concerned. At a minimum, he should have told his son that he does not get to “produce” music until after he gets a degree.

So T.D. is in his earrings and his sons are in theirs.

It is phenomenal to me that Prempro is still on the market, considering that it has been known to strike women who take it with cancer. Ladies, when you hit menopause, suffer through and pray through—-naturally. Do not take any hormone replacement drugs, please. Allow mother nature to run her course! I would rather see a woman suffer from hot flashes than suffer cancer.

Since 1995, millions of women have confidently taken Prempro, a leading hormone replacement therapy drug, prescribed to treat postmenopausal hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms.

However, a recent major study concludes that long-term use of Prempro has significantly increased the risk of stroke, blood clots, Prempro ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, and breast cancer, while maximizing the risk for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Evidence has revealed that Prempro and other estrogen progestin combinations can actually harm perfectly healthy women.

These results were found in the nation’s largest hormone replacement study and were so alarming that the National Institute of Health (NIH) prematurely canceled the study citing risk to the participants. As a result the study is suggesting that many of the women who use Prempro and other estrogen and progestin combinations should quit and talk to their doctors about Prempro alternatives.

Regardless of the circumstances of his death (defying all the signs telling him to stay out of the restricted area)my heart goes out to the family of this young man. What a tragedy!

A 17-year-old park visitor was struck and killed Saturday by the Batman roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia.

The incident, which happened at approximately 2 p.m., occurred when the teenager jumped over a fence labeled danger zone, said Hela Sheth, a spokeswoman for the park.

The victim has been identified as 17-year-old Asia Leeshawn Ferguson of Springfield, South Carolina. Ferguson was part of a group visiting the park from Oakey Springs Baptist Church in Springfield, authorities said.

We do not know why this person was intent on gaining access to this restricted area, Sheth said in a written statement. Multiple signs clearly state Do Not Enter and Authorized Personnel Only,” said Sheth.

Some witnesses have stated that the teen was trying to retrieve a hat. Others reported that he was trying to touch the ride.

“This is merely speculation at this point, and we are working with park visitors and local police to learn more,” said Sheth.

An off-duty police officer from nearby Marietta witnessed the accident and summoned help, said Six Flags officials in a statement. Park security and Cobb County emergency personnel arrived quickly, and the medical examiner confirmed that the victim was killed on impact, the statement said.

Hicktown, I’m really trying to keep from cussin here, but I am down right upset, mortified, deeply offended and embarrassed that this clown would allow herself to become the poster child for the modern day Jigaboo.   This wasn’t even a joke as far as I’m concerned.  Ain’t nothing funny about a Black woman looking like a professional toilet cleaner who loves every minute of it.   I pray I don’t see Sherri Shepard on the streets of NYC, because I may catch a case, trying to slap some blasted sense into her.   This pic by the way is in this month’s issue of Life & Style magazine and all over the Internet as you can see HERE.  I need to lower my blood pressure now behind this Tom Foolery.

Oh, well. It’s time to take the filth of disease and debauchery elsewhere because a concerned group in Chattanooga has put their foot down and decided to run your butts off of Main Street!

Sexual deviants who go after people’s children on the internet can breathe a sigh of relief. The show that goes after pedophiles will be off the air for a while and possibly permanently. Check this out:

NBC Universal has settled a $105 million lawsuit brought by a woman who claimed a televised sex sting by “Dateline NBC: To Catch A Predator” drove her brother to kill himself.

“The matter has been amicably resolved to the satisfaction of both parties,” said a statement released by both sides. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Patricia Conradt’s lawsuit had claimed her brother, a suburban Dallas prosecutor, fatally shot himself after he was accused of engaging in a sexually explicit online chat with an adult posing as a 13-year-old boy.

The lawsuit claimed NBC “steamrolled” authorities to arrest Louis William Conradt Jr. after telling police he failed to show up at a sting operation 35 miles away.

NBC was working with the activist group Perverted Justice on the sting, in which people impersonating children established online chats with men and tried to lure them to a house, where they were met by TV cameras and police.

In February, a federal judge issued a scathing ruling in the case, saying a jury might conclude the network “crossed the line from responsible journalism to irresponsible and reckless intrusion into law enforcement.”

Interesting how judges are so concerned about pedophiles and less interested in victims, huh?  Open season on children.
