McCain Allowed to Ice Skate After Accepting Rev. John Hagee’s Endorcement While Obama is Crucified Because of Rev. Wright

April 30, 2008

As the media is subjecting Barack Obama to a high class lynching, John McCain is receiving a free ride.

Check out this VIDEO where Pastor John Hagee makes some serious accusations regarding the Catholic Church, etc., yet no one is on McCain for accepting this man’s endorsement.

People claim that blacks are paranoid. No, we are not paranoid. We simply tell it like we see it. A black man named Barack Obama is being tormented by the media for being black and having the NERVE to be a front runner in a presidential campaign.

A white man named John McCain is ice skating, in spite of accepting Hagee’s endorsement and Hagee has said much more controversial things than Wright!

By the way, I’m not saying that nothing Hagee says is correct. I’m not saying that I disagree with everything he says. I’m simply saying that he has said some controversial and even offensive [to many] things and why isn’t McCain being confronted?

Let’s use the same rules for the white McCain as we do for the black Obama.

Chinese Sue CNN for $1.3 Billion over Racist Remarks

April 30, 2008
“Chinese primary school teacher and a beautician have filed a suit against CNN in New York over remarks they say insulted the Chinese people and are seeking $1.3 billion in compensation — $1 per person in China.

The case against the Atlanta-based cable channel, its parent company Turner Broadcasting and Jack Cafferty, the offending commentator, comes after 14 lawyers launched a similar suit in Beijing alleging that Cafferty’s remarks earlier this month violated the dignity and reputation of the Chinese people.

Cafferty said the United States imported Chinese-made “junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned pet food” and added: “They’re basically the same bunch of goons and thugs they’ve been for the last 50 years.” Source

What I wanna know is when will African-American’s come together and file suit against CNN and Fox News for the same thing? Both networks offend us on a regular basis and Fox News especially seems to take pride in doing so.

Actor Gary Dourdan of CSI Arrested With Heroin in Car

April 30, 2008

You know what? You would have to be living under a rock to not be aware that not only does heroin have ZERO medicinal value, but it will turn you into a hopeless junkie.

With that in mind, I have no compassion for the self destructive fools who get tied up in heroin.

Can you explain to me why actor, Gary Dourdan would be crazy enough to use drugs and in particular, heroin? I truly hope that this nutcase is fired and blackballed in Hollyweird…um, Hollywood.

The actor - whose character, Warrick Brown, has battled an addiction to pills on the crime drama - was busted in Palm Springs, Calif., on charges of drug possession.

Cops there say a patrol officer discovered Dourdan asleep in a vehicle (parked on the wrong side of the road) at 5:12 a.m. on Monday.

The officer found Dourdan “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” according to police.

A search of the car turned up “suspected cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia,” police said.

Dourdan, 41, was booked at the Palm Springs jail on possession of narcotics and possession of dangerous drugs. He was released on $5,000 bail at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

Chaka Khan and Killer Son, Damien Ordered to Pay 1.3 Million to Victim’s Family

April 29, 2008

By: Lynn Green

Do you all recall a few years ago when Chaka Khan’s son got off after killing a young man? She appeared in Essence Magazine, etc. where she discussed it. Well, her son may have gotten off but he just lost a lawsuit pertaining to the case. I DO find it odd that Chaka would be part of this lawsuit, though! She did not kill anyone. And I hope she wins on appeal.

Los Angeles newspaper Daily Breeze is reporting that Chaka Khan and her son Damien Holland have been ordered to pay more than $1.3 million to the family of a teen who was killed in their home following a dispute in 2004.

According to court records, Superior Court Judge Bob Hight approved a default judgment against them in November for more than $1.3 million, plus interest, after Khan and Holland failed to respond to the lawsuit.

Khan’s manager, Tammy McCrary, said Friday that the singer never received the lawsuit and knew nothing about the judgment.

The family of 17-year-old Christopher Bailey filed a wrongful death and negligence lawsuit against Khan and Holland, 29, after a jury acquitted Holland of Bailey’s murder in May 2006.

Holland shot Bailey in the face with an M-16 assault rifle on Sept. 24, 2004. During the trial, Holland admitted he had a friend punch him in the face and initially lied to the police to make it seem as if Bailey attacked him. He also testified he was upset because Bailey was having an affair with his girlfriend, but that the gun went off accidentally.

7 Year Old Charged with Grand Theft Auto - He “wanted to do Hoodrat stuff”

April 29, 2008

This video is just shocking and appalling and a fine example of why some people should not bring children into this world.  This little boy stole his grandmother’s car and went on a joyride where he crashed into several cars and 2 mailboxes.  He slightly resembles my 6 year old nephew and if he ever got caught doing anything like this, I would so beat his behind.

You also have to wonder about the other 7 year old he was with when he stole his grandmother’s car.  He says that his friend smokes cigarettes and says “It’s fun to do bad stuff.”  Who is watching these children?  Where is a 7 year old getting cigarettes from?  What is going on with our future generations?

Obama Distanced Himself From Rev. Wright

April 29, 2008

My heart aches for Obama. I really feel for him. He’s a loyal, gentle, kind man. He tried so hard to stand by Rev. Wright.

Rev. Wright gave such a wonderful speech two days ago…and then the devil had him to follow it up with a fiasco at the National Press Club that was just horrifyingly embarrassing. He made an “ass” out of himself (forgive the word but I could not find anything more appropriate).

Good for Obama that he distanced himself from Rev. Wright. It’s a sad situation all around.

In his harshest criticism yet of his former minister, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama said he was outrage by Wright’s comments at the National Press Club Monday, and saddened by the spectacle.

I have been a member of Trinity Church since 1992. I have known Rev. Wright for almost 20 years, he said at a Winston-Salem, North Carolina press conference Tuesday. The person I saw yesterday is not the person I met 20 years ago.  Link

NC Governor Easley to Endorse Clinton

April 29, 2008

The democrats are so undemocratic…part of why I plan to remain a rebublican on paper, even though I will exercise my right to vote for whomever I so choose.

The candidates should be chosen by the people, not by this made up concept of “super” delegates. The very thought of that is offensive.

In North Carolina, even though Obama is the projected winner, the governor there has chosen to endorse Hillary Clinton. Don’t tell me that this white man is not threatened by the thought of a black man taking the position of president! Why else did he vote for Hillary, totally ignoring the wishes of his people who are going to choose Obama?

Inside sources and The Associated Press are reporting that North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley will endorse Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for president today.

Easley is a Democratic superdelegate who has served two terms as governor. His backing will provide Clinton the institutional support she needs in a state where she is trailing behind Sen. Barack Obama for state’s May 6 primary.

Easley is a well respected leader among Democrats in North Carolina and makes him only the second super delegate from the state to endorse Clinton.

Six of the total seventeen super delegates in the state have gone for Obama.

On a more positve note, Obama is ahead in super delegates:

In the U.S. Senate, Sen. Barack Obama now has 14 endorsements compared to Sen. Hillary Clinton’s 13, thanks to the low profile of Sen. Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico.

Clinton:

• Sen. Evan Bayh (Ind.)
• Sen. Bill Nelson (Fla.)
• Sen. Mark Pryor (Ark.)
• Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.)
• Sen. Daniel Inouye (Hawaii)
• Sen. Blanche Lincoln (Ark.)
• Sen. Bob Menendez (N.J.)
• Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.)
• Sen. Debbie Stabenow (Mich.)
• Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.)
• Sen. Maria Cantwell (Wash.)
• Sen. Barbara Mikulski (Md.)
• Sen. Patty Murray (Wash.)

Obama: • Sen. Jay Rockefeller (W.Va.)
• Sen. Jeff Bingaman (N.M.)
• Sen. Edward Kennedy (Mass.)
• Sen. John Kerry (Mass.)
• Sen. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.)
• Sen. Patrick Leahy (Vt.)
• Sen. Chris Dodd (Conn.)
• Sen. Byron Dorgan (N.D.)
• Sen. Dick Durbin (Ill.)
• Sen. Tim Johnson (S.D.)
• Sen. Bob Casey (Pa.)
• Sen. Kent Conrad (N.D.)
• Sen. Claire McCaskill (Mo.)
• Sen. Ben Nelson (Neb.)

YIPEE, Free Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream!

April 29, 2008
Loosen your belt a couple notches and grab the kids.In fact, every Ben & Jerry’s store around the world is participating in the giveaway tradition. The ice cream maker is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

In addition to the free scoop, you might also have a local celebrity serving you your cone.

It’s a dog-gone shame that I’m still housebound after surgery. Cause if I weren’t my little behind would be in line looking for my free ice cream. You’d better believe that! Thanks for the offer, Ben and Jerry!
