You know what? People die every day. People are murdered daily. The fact that people are murdered does not in and of itself mean that a serial killer is running loose.

In Chicago two homosexual men were murdered over a period of several weeks and suddenly there are homosexual groups claiming that a serial killer is loose. Does that make any sense to you?

Did the thought ever occur to any of them that maybe their boyfriends or spurned lovers murdered them? Why does it have to be something as ominous as a serial killer?

I wish peace to the families of their loved ones. Here is the story

Activists fear gay African-Americans are being targeted for murder. Two openly gay men were killed recently on the South Side, as CBS 2’s Mike Parker reports.

African-American gay and lesbian groups are talking about the murders of two openly gay Black men in the past month.

On November 17, 24-year-old Larry Bland was shot to death in his Englewood home. Bland, a security guard at Northwestern Hospital was shot more than once after struggling with a man who had entered the house through an unlocked basement door.

Then on December 23, 47-year-old Donald Young, the choir director at Trinity United Church of Christ, was shot multiple times in his South Side apartment. His roommate found his body.

“We’re calling on the police department to let the community know what’s going on,” said Marc Loveless of the Coalition for Justice and Respect. “Are we under attack? Is this a serial killer?”

Chicago Police Department Acting Sept. Dana Starks said, “I understand the concerns of any group, any community when it comes to homicide. As of right now, I cannot say whether there is a connection.”

The media services director of the church where Donald Young taught and led the choir, said, “Young did live an openly gay lifestyle; that was his choice.”

I won’t even get into the question of what on earth is going on at Trinity United Church of Christ. The bible is clear about homosexuality being a sin so I’m not understanding why an openly homosexual man was directing their choir. And by the same token, I’d feel the exact way about an open adulterer or fornicator directing the choir.

Below is an exerpt from a heart wrenching letter I received from a confused and pitiful brainwashed “silly woman” as the Apostle Paul would have described her:

Try reporting good things about ministries that are changing peoples lives everyday. You don’t personally know the people who you are writing your stories about. You don’t eat with them, you don’t live with them, and you aren’t involved in their day-to-day lives. So stop trying to act like you are doing a favor for your readers by alerting them of misconduct. You are filling people up with junk and it’s wrong! Try to see what it’s like putting yourself in other people shoes.

1. Why do women like this continue to visit my blog 5 - 10 times per day, every day without fail while at the same time telling me I am wrong for exposing the various pulpit pimps, prostitutes, pedophiles and perverts? It boggles my mind. 

If I offered this woman a thousand dollars, I am positive she would not leave HickTown because she loves it here. Yet, she wants me to stop writing about the very topics that drew her here and keeps her here.

2. This woman tells me I don’t personally know the pimps that I’ve been reporting about. True and I thank God that I don’t know them. I would not want to know a hypocrite who is brainwashing God’s people, fleecing the flock and living large while their pitiful sheep go hungry, many unable to pay their rent due to sending all their money to the pimps.

3. The woman then informs me to stop “acting” like I’m doing my readers a favor by exposing the pimps and the misconduct of the pimps. LOL! No comment. But you all see what happens when someone sits under a cult for too long, right?

4. This poor, silly woman tells me to put myself in the shoes of the pimps I’m exposing. Oh, my goodness. She is so lost. Let’s take Pimp “Apostle” Gerald Griffith for an example. I sunk my fangs so deeply into that pedophile that I’m sure he will never recover. That is a man who set himself up as “god” and you were only allowed to uplift him and preach about him in the pulpit. Then, while supposedly “counseling” children, he was sodomizing them in his office.

Now this misguided woman wants me to put myself in the shoes of that pervert? That sicko is a criminal who presently is in jail, and no longer able to hurt people’s children. Why should I bite my tongue and refuse to expose that freak?

Look at the two carnival entertainers, Bynum and Weeks. How could I and many others on the internet not have exposed those two? In fact, they exposed themselves through their antics.

Look at Paula White, who abruptly divorced her husband and ended up purchasing a home in Texas where she suddenly started preaching in the church of a “pastor” accused of sexual misconduct. How on earth can that not be reported?  Are we to turn a blind eye to the obvious?

Why do these cult members out here want bloggers to stay silent on the public antics of these pulpit pimpts and prostitutes? Give me a break!

She asked one final question, which was: Why won’t I report on the good things happening in the Body of Christ.  That point is well taken and I’ve already told you all that the positive articles are coming. It’s just that the pimps are so out of  control, they take up much of my time.  Every time I think I can rest, another pimp gets caught and it starts all over again.

 Instead of talking to me, why don’t such women contact the pimps and ask the pimps to give the bloggers such as myself, IC, Melvin and the others who expose them a rest. We’d love to get some rest, believe me. But the pimps just won’t stop pimping and we won’t stop warning you all about them.

I’m willing to have a truce, though.  Pimps, if you would stop sleeping with children, cheating on your wives and husbands, fleecing the flock and teaching false doctrine, all of us bloggers will stop writing about you. But if you continue your antics, we will continue to blog. Fair enough?  The ball is in the pimps’ court.

Regarding writing about the good pastors, the first good pastor that I’ll report on is a Hicktowner named Pastor Chris. Stay tuned.

As more and more Americans are becoming attached and addicted to cell phones, it’s no wonder that comedian Amy Borkowsky is vowing to give up her phone for two months.

That started me to thinking: Although I am NOT addicted to my cell phone—at home, I use only my land line, as cell phones are dangerous  and were only created for emergency use. But I definitely keep it on hand for emergencies.

For those who are addicted, how would they get by without their phone?

Comedian Amy Borkowsky will ring in the new year with silence, vowing to do what seems almost unimaginable to every other New Yorker - ditch her cell phone for two months.

She is so sick of her phone becoming an almost permanent fixture at her ear, she has vowed to cancel her service and shelve her cell for the next eight weeks.

It may seem extreme to those who can’t imagine not using their cell phones for eight minutes, but Borkowsky is determined to get back to face-to-face communication with friends, family and the rest of the human race.

She plans to document it all in a Web project, Cellibacy, at amyscellphone.com.

“It’s not about giving up sex,” Borkowsky said of the title. “I’m giving up something much harder than that.”

Don’t get too teared up for brave Borkowsky: She’ll still have her home telephone and e-mail.

She’s also allowing herself 20 quarters for pay phone use. Each emergency call will be explained in detail on the Web site.

Can you imagine going down a chimney in search of a wallet? Well that’s exactly what happened right here in Maryland as a 19 year old woman realized that she had left her wallet in her father’s business. Instead of calling him to let her in, she made the dangerous and dumb decision to climb onto the roof and go down the chimney. Of course she got stuck.  Her boyfriend dialed 911 but why did he allow her to go down the chimney? Does this sound like the actions of  sane people to you?

  I’ve read articles in the past about Latino gangs in California targeting blacks. Well here is yet another verifying story. For those who cannot understand why it’s so dangerous to have these illegal aliens in this country, look at stories such as this one. Many of these Latino gangs are composed of people who are in this country illegally and who do not understand that in a civilized society, peace is desired:

In a murderous quest aimed at “cleansing” their turf of snitches and rival gangsters, members of one of Los Angeles County’s most vicious Latino gangs sometimes killed people just because of their race, an investigation found.

There were even instances in which Florencia 13 leaders ordered killings of black gangsters and then, when the intended victim couldn’t be located, said “Well, shoot any black you see,” Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca said.

“In certain cases some murders were just purely motivated on killing a black person,” Baca said.

Authorities say there were 20 murders among more than 80 shootings documented during the gang’s rampage in the hardscrabble Florence-Firestone neighborhood, exceptional even in an area where gang violence has been commonplace for decades. They don’t specify the time frame or how many of the killings were racial.

Los Angeles has struggled with gang violence for years, especially during the wars in the late 1980s and early ’90s between the Crips and the Bloods _ both black gangs. Latino gangs have gained influence since then as the Hispanic population surged.

I love what Mike Huckabee said to a group of Christians in 1998 but as far as I’m concerned, still holds true today. Check this out!

Mike Huckabee, a Republican relying on support from religious conservatives in Thursday’s hard-fought presidential caucuses, on Sunday stood by a decade-old comment in which he said, “I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ.”

In a television interview, the ordained Southern Baptist minister and former Arkansas governor made no apologies for the 1998 comment made at a Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Salt Lake City.

“It was a speech made to a Christian gathering, and, and certainly that would be appropriate to be said to a gathering of Southern Baptists,” Huckabee said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Isn’t it interesting that someone dug into his old speeches to pull out that comment to try to discredit him? Again, Christians are being attacked in this country. Mike Huckabee is a conservative and I truly desire a conservative president to take office. Two thumbs up to Huckabee for standing his ground!

A passenger on a Fort Worth bus says the T. Bus Service discriminated against her religion.

Christine Lutz says she was reading her Bible to her children when the bus driver asked her to stop or get off the bus.

Lutz, a Seventh Day Adventist, and her children were on their way to church.

“She then said, ‘Well I don’t think this is the place or the time to do so.’ And I said, ‘Oh, but it’s the perfect time and the perfect place since it is our Sabbath and it is the time with the Lord and therefore I’m going to continue.’ And I continued,” she explained.

Then, a TRE supervisor came on board. Lutz also told him that she would not stop reading. She and her family were escorted off the bus.

Dear Bloggers:

This is a word of advice to my readers who own blogs. Don’t be so quick to respond to people who claim to be from the media.

Someone contacted me this morning asking about a story I had reported here on this blog. He wanted to know about my sources and why I had even posted the story. I noticed that when he mentioned my blog, he got my blog name wrong, which is unprofessional. He referred to it as “Hicktown News”. Since when has this blog been called Hicktown News? Never, right?

I then went over to his “newspaper” since he referred to himself as a “reporter” and I saw the types of stories he reports on and his obvious agenda. Let’s just say that from the standpoint of morality, he and I are worlds apart.

Next, I noticed that he has a site meter so I pressed on it. His so-called “newspaper” receives a whopping 150 visitors per day on average. I saw that and chuckled.

Here I am with a 5 month old blog that averages 355 - 430 visitors per day, and that without any national press coverage. When there is breaking news, the numbers jump to over 600, upwards of 4,000+ per day, depending on the story.

So the great “reporter” with his 150 person per day circulation is questioning me about a story I broke? LOL!

In response to him, I answered “No comment”.  He is not worth my time. I owe him nothing. In fact, I won’t even mention what blog—um, uh…”newspaper” he contacted me from because I refuse to send him any traffic.

So my tip for those of you who are bloggers is, don’t allow anyone to set a trap for you or to question you about anything you choose to publish. That guy even wrote me back and asked me to give him some background on my blog. Huh? How unprofessional is that when all he has to do is read the blog and the various areas of the blog where I talk about myself? Amateurs never cease to amaze me. In response, I ended communication with him with the line, “Do not contact me again”.  That’s all I said. The less you say, the better.

When you do that, no one can misquote you or lie on you. Never be so quick to respond to people or so-called media/press, especially when you sense that they are up to no good and that their agenda is warped.

I plan to contact Gmail to ask them how I can go about blocking people who I don’t desire to contact me.

In a case of attention whoring at its worse, a Maryland man recently received all types of local and national attention by engaging in idiotic behavior. Because the Ravens were having such a bad year, he decided to take up residence on the roof of a bar, supposedly until they won a game.

Now you might be thinking, Did he have a life????

Uh…actually, yes. Not only did he have a real life, but this devoted Ravens fan, according to his ex-wife, was more attached and loyal to a sports team than he was to his own child, for whom this jerk owes over $40,000 in back child support.

So while he was attention whoring for the cameras, sitting on the roof of a bar, he had a child sitting at home not being supported by this fool.

With each interview that her former husband gave to television and newspapers about his obsession with the Baltimore Ravens, Kelly Stach’s frustration grew.

For more than two weeks, the Dundalk woman stood on the sidelines as Ronald Stach - dubbed the “Goof on the Roof” - became a celebrity for camping out atop a Southeast Baltimore bar until the hometown football team snapped its losing streak.

Kelly Stach was determined to expose her former husband, a part-time construction worker, whom she calls a deadbeat dad.

“I just think it’s horrible that everyone out there thought he was this great supporter of the Ravens, and he hasn’t supported his own kid in the last 18 years,” Kelly Stach said in an interview yesterday.

On Wednesday, Kelly Stach said, she called Baltimore police to let them know that her former husband was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court in connection with a child support case, in which court documents say he owes her $34,465. That figure is as of 2004, and Kelly Stach said the amount now is about $43,000.

Police didn’t find the 41-year-old Stach on the roof - he came down on Christmas Day for unexplained reasons, according to the bar’s owner - but arrested him at a house in Southeast Baltimore.
