Good news! That insane cult, Westboro Baptist, has been ordered to pay big bucks to the family of a marine whom they cruelly mocked at his funeral of all places. Why would they do something so sick to his family?

A federal jury in Baltimore, Maryland, Wednesday awarded $10.9 million to a father of a Marine whose funeral was picketed by members of a fundamentalist church carrying signs blaming soldiers’ deaths on America’s tolerance of homosexuals.

The family of Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder — who was killed in a vehicle accident in Iraq’s Anbar province in 2006 — sued the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, and its leaders for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Church members showed up at Snyder’s funeral chanting derogatory slogans and holding picket signs with messages including “God Hates Fags.” source

Authorities are searching for a female teacher from Nebraska who they say kidnapped a 13-year-old former middle school student with whom she had a relationship.

“Right now, there’s a warrant we got for the arrest of Kelsey Peterson for kidnapping, child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor,” said Paul Schwarz, a criminal investigator for the Lexington, Neb., Police Department, to ABC News.

The parents of Fernando Rodriguez reported their son missing Saturday after he was last seen late Thursday. A warrant for Peterson’s arrest was issued after investigators filed an affidavit indicating that the woman had an ongoing relationship with Rodriguez that could be traced to her job at the Lexington Middle School. source

     I’ve blogged in the past about “Evia” , an internet personality who has a blog that focuses in on convincing black women that black men are damaged beyond repair pieces of garbage who black women should avoid like the plague. I also highlighted her “movement” on my radio program.

Well, guess what? Evia is now peddling her garbage for a very steep price. Apparently she views her attacks and insults against black men as worthy of selling. And heaven only knows how many black women are actually going to forego paying certain bills and risk having their credit damaged to pay money to hear this chick insult their husbands, fathers, uncles, grandfathers, brothers…and yes, their own sons.

It is mind boggling to me that any black woman would PAY MONEY to have someone poison their mind against their own men. It goes to the sad state that many women are in. It’s a desperate state.  Can you imagine a white woman paying money to read someone attack white men?  This insanity happens in no other race, folks!

The bottom line of Evia’s rhetoric is that white men are the panacea and savior for all that ails black women. And she has a couple of white men who are joining her in her attack on black men.

One of them is a white guy who has created a few blogs in which he cries and moans about how rejected he feels that he and his pals cannot attract white women. He complains bitterly about the ease with which black men attract white women. To read his bitter whining is actually funny.

The scary thing though is that this white dude, who clearly PREFERS white women, but is not able to attract one (heaven only knows what’s turning his women off!) has now turned to black women for support. Black women are clearly his back-up choice and one can only infer (by reading his blog) that he dates black women solely to “get back” at black men who obviously leave him feeling inferior.

Now this “Evia” character has locked forces with that rejected loser:

LOL! I couldn’t help but laugh when I read that. He needs to look in the mirror. If his own women don’t want him, maybe he should consider a make-over. Does he look like something out of a caveman movie? Or perhaps he has a hygiene issue. I am very suspect though that his own women won’t go near him.  Even a roach can find a mate!

YET, desperate black women are hooking up with this rejected “savior”.  He does not care anything about black people or about black women. Black women are his way of appeasing himself for the fact that black men are running circles around him, getting what he views as the “choice” white women.

In a debate with Michael Fisher, he had the NERVE to make this comment to Michael directly, but clearly ABOUT black men in general:

If you cared one bit about the well-being of black women, why aren’t you fighting against the stereotypes that they face? If you care so much about them, then why aren’t you ACKNOWLEGING their pain and encouraging them to expand their horizons and increase their chances of happiness? In otherwords, WHY AREN’T YOU DOING WHAT I’M DOING? It’s a sad day when a white man has to help black women because black men don’t want to! source

The “game” that this dude is playing with the minds of black women who are gullible enough to believe him is almost too insane to take seriously. He has an entire blog dedicated to his belief that white men are being mistreated in society and where he cries about not being able to get a date with a white woman.

Now on his other blog, this scammer is trying to help perpetuate the lie that he is the savior and lover of black women? Come on. Black women CAN’T be that dumb. This is pitiful.

Evia has her own issues. It’s clear that she has been rejected and mistreated by many black men in her life by the comments she makes, and now she is charging black women big bucks to read her insanity. Here is a sample of what your $199.95 will get you:

Many bm (black men) feel that a ww (white woman) raises their status to that of almost a wm. A bm definitely feels whiter when he has a ww in his life. He feels he has moved “up” in life.Many bm who have “arrived” or have achieved on a high level thus feel they have “earned” a ww. Many of these bm are actually “whiter” in their thinking than many white men.

Oh, how original! YAWN…so where’s the beef? And considering that she clearly believes that black women who marry white men are thereby raising their status, why is the pot calling the kettle black?

An article appeared in the Washington Post recently titled, The Irrelevant Rev. Sharpton, written by Ta-Nehisi Paul Coates. While I am certainly not a fan of Al Sharpton’s, I do give him props for at least trying.  I appreciate his efforts in spotlighting the Genarlow Wilson  and Jena6 cases, for example. Is Sharpton perfect? Not by a long shot. But he is consistent and I believe he sincerely cares about black people.

Ironically, as the writer, Coates, attacks Sharption for his efforts here in the real world, Coates shared that he often lives in a fantasy world at various times in his adult life and brags about his addiction to “white music”.  He actually wants us to take him seriously when he attacks Al Sharpton’s efforts.

Al Sharpton, regardless of personal issues or motives, has a genine love for black people (I believe) and he certainly goes to bat for blacks whenever he possibly can.  He is more action than talk and quite frankly, action is what counts.

Instead of peaking in on the real world from time to time to check on people like Al Sharpton who at least is attempting to make a positive contribution, won’t you just stay in your Land of Gnomes because quite frankly sir, you are being a public nuisance. Tune up your acid rock, retreat into one of your fantasy characters, and just nod back.

What on Earth is a “Black Leader”?

One thing that truly annoys me is when I hear the term, “black leader”. I never hear “white leader”, “Hispanic leader” or “Asian leader”. That term only appears to be used in reference to black people.

I don’t need a leader. How in the world am I going to view someone as a leader when I don’t really even know the person. I’m not the “follow the leader” type. I march to the beat of my own drum and rhythm.

People tend to refer to Jesse Jackson as a black leader. He’s not my leader. It was only a few years ago that his out of wedlock baby was born. How disrespectful was that to his family? Also, I still cannot comprehend why a “minister” of the gospel would put his sons in the beer business. Beer is alcohol and alcohol kills.

In the early 1980s, Jackson organized a boycott of Anheuser-Busch, Inc. because the brewing company had no minority distributors. In 1998, Jackson’s sons Yusef and Jonathan were awarded the exclusive rights to distribute the brewer’s products in a section of Chicago’s North Side. The Jackson family distributorship records sales of $30 million to $40 million annually.

No true black “leader” who cares about the black community would place his sons in the midst of a beer industry to peddle that poison, knowing alcohol’s adverse affects on society.   

Blacks do not need a national “leader”.  Let’s erase that concept from our minds.

CNN  has an interesting article today about Autism. That is an awful, heartbreaking syndrome.

Experts estimate that three to six children out of every 1,000 will have autism. Males are four times more likely to have autism than females. source

Autism strikes children of all races and what is frightening is that many children are initially normal, then suddenly—over night, disappear into autism. Many parents indicate that it happens after their child is vaccinated.

The American Academy of Pediatrics is making a push to have every child screened for autism twice by age 2. The academy’s new report gives explicit instructions for the warning signs of autism at various ages.

Parents should watch for signs, including not making eye contact, not recognizing a parent’s voice, not babbling by age 9 months and not using pre-speech gestures such as waving, pointing and showing.

Autism encompasses a range of developmental disabilities that affects communication and social interaction. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates as many as one in 150 8-year-olds has a form of autism.

Because early intervention is the key to helping families and children who have the syndrome, it is important to have children screened early and in therapy early if in fact the disorder is present. I agree 100% with doctors and educators who indicate that parents should have their toddler screened.

Life must really be miserable for rapper, Foxy Brown. Even in jail, she is unable to follow rules:

The rapper, born Inga Marchand, was put in isolation after violating three jailhouse rules. She allegedly fought with another inmate, cursed out members of the staff and refused a random drug test.

“Really she didn’t hear the request,” explained Foxy’s manager, Chaz Williams, citing her hearing impairment. “She has a battery-operated device and sometimes it dies out.”

As for the alleged fight with another inmate, Williams said the reports were way overblown.

“There was an incident where a girl attempted to confront her and she stood her ground, but there wasn’t any contact,” he said. “Words were exchanged and that was it.”

One of the reasons parents need to really work with children who have a streak of rebellion is because children don’t usually “outgrow” rebellion. If they misbehave in school, ignoring authority, they will misbehave on the streets, ignoring police and breaking all rules. Too many parents are quick to rush to the defense of children, accusing teachers of “picking” on their little “angels”. Such parents are setting their children up. Look at Foxy Brown. I guarantee you she was never corrected as a child and now she is paying the price in jail, though still misbehaving.
